The first two, partly-printed vellum DsS, appointing Robert Gray Lieutenant in the dockyard at Sheerness; and Robert Boyes Adjutant in the Hampshire Regiment of Fencible Cavalry. Countersigned by Secretary at War Henry Fox or Home Secretary Portland. Each 9½x13½ inches; deep folds, lacking wax seals but revenue stamps attached at lower left. The third, DS, ordering the Paymaster General to pay George Hazelton half pay of 15 shillings per day for service as Reduced Inspector of Hospitals to Our Forces between July 11, 1799 and March 13, 1800. Countersigned by Secretary at War William Windham. 1½ pages, folio, with integral blank; short closed separations at folds including one repaired with tissue.
